Historical Significance
According to local tradition, this place marks the spot where Baba Farid Ji left his “godari” (jacket) before entering Faridkot. A Gurdwara was constructed here in 1982 to commemorate this association with the saint.
Situated about 4 kilometres from Faridkot on the Faridkot–Kotkapura Road, Gurdwara Mai Godri Sahib has since become a respected and serene place of worship and reflection.
