Focus Community Care offers Group / Centre Activities designed to support NDIS participants to connect with others, build friendships and enjoy social and recreational experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Our group activities encourage participation, confidence and skill development while making sure everyone feels included and comfortable.

What Are Group / Centre Activities?

Group / Centre Activities provide participants with opportunities to take part in structured social, recreational, and skill-building activities alongside others. These activities help reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and support independence through shared experiences.

All activities are participant-focused and guided by individual interests and abilities.

Group and centre-based programs also support participants to build important life skills, including:

  • Social and communication skills
  • Planning and organising activities
  • Basic money handling skills
  • Computer and digital skills
  • Confidence and teamwork

Our Activity Spaces

Our group-based programs may include:

Flexible and Participant-Focused Support

We understand that every participant has unique needs. Our team is flexible and can adjust activities, schedules or provide transport support where required. If you need something different, we’re happy to discuss options with you.

  • TV and movie area
  • Quiet and reading space
  • Games and activity rooms
  • Kitchen and shared meals area

These spaces help create a comfortable and inclusive environment for all participants.

Session Options

We offer flexible session options to suit different needs:

Full Day Session
9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Morning tea and lunch included

Half Day Sessions
9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Morning tea included)
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Lunch included)
